LaQuetta Glaze is the new Customer Relationship Manager for the Corps of Engineers

MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 18, 2009 – La Quetta Glaze is the new Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) Customer Relationship Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District.

Prior to arriving, she worked as the Project Lead for the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. In this position, she served as an Information Technology Specialist responsible for project management, team leadership, and implementation engineering for the Information Systems Engineering Command Technology Integration Center. She was also the Senior Wireless Implementation Engineer for ISEC and is recognized as the final expert authority in the DoD and Army community through the comprehensive and extensive knowledge of this field.

In her new position, Glaze is responsible for resolving customer concerns and complaints as they relate to day-to-day operations. In addition, she assumes the roll as the ACE-IT site liaison, who facilitates understanding of site day-to-day operational needs to ACE-IT management as well as assuring local ACE-IT staff are properly engaged and performing according to agreed-upon standards in all IM/IT mission areas.

The 25,000-square-mile Memphis District encompasses portions of six states and is charged with keeping 355 miles of the Mississippi River open for commercial navigation. Its mission is to provide flood risk management, navigation, environmental stewardship, other authorized civil works, military programs support, and emergency operations within our area of responsibility, in order to benefit the region and the nation.
