  • Grenada Lake Youth Waterfowl Hunt

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Grenada Lake Field Office and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks will host a youth waterfowl hunt on 1 February 2014. The youth waterfowl hunt will be at the Benwood Waterfowl Management Area and will provide an opportunity for experienced waterfowl hunters to teach the younger generations proper techniques and ethics of the sport.
  • Enid Lake Annual Clean Up Day

    The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District (Corps) will hold the 10th annual Enid Lake clean-up day on 22 February 2014. Volunteers interested in participating in this event can meet at the Enid Lake Field Office, Chickasaw Hill Boat Ramp or Sylva Rena Grocery at 7:00 a.m.
  • Two Vicksburg District Engineers Achieve Licensing

    Heather Sibley and Taylor Bradley of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District (Corps) recently obtained their Professional Civil Engineer license. Only a licensed engineer may prepare, sign, seal and submit engineering plans and drawings to a public authority for approval.
  • Sardis Lake Hosts 32nd Annual Bald Eagle Watch

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District (Corps) will host the 32nd annual Sardis Lake mid-winter bald eagle survey Saturday, 11 January 2014. Volunteers will watch, count and document movement of bald eagles around Sardis Lake. Volunteers should dress appropriately and meet at the Sardis Lake Field Office at 7:00 a.m. for information and instructions.
  • Arkabutla Lake Fish Habitat Day

    The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District (Corps) will host the 2014 fish habitat day at Arkabutla Lake on Saturday, 22 February at 7:00 a.m. Volunteers should report to the Arkabutla Lake Field Office located at 3905 Arkabutla Dam Road in Coldwater, Mississippi 38618.
