Robert (Bob) Anderson has served as the Public Affairs Officer for the
Memphis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers since 1994. Sometimes called the
"voice" of the district, he is responsible for the overall public affairs
vision, strategies and products. He is also the primary speech writer for the District
Engineer and Deputy District Engineer.
Bob has worked every aspect of Public Affairs. Prior to his current
position, he worked as a Public Affairs Specialist for nine years. He worked as the
district’s community and media relations coordinator, and as editor of the RiverWatch
newsletter.
