When You Communicate With Us by E-Mail

When you ask us a question about our mission by e-mail, the Public Affairs Mission Manager may leave your e-mail address in a file on his computer so that we can personally communicate with you later about the specific issue you asked about or related FEMA-mission issues.

Additionally, we are prohibited from deleting files and correspondence associated with Katrina Recovery Operations.

No one else will use your e-mail address for any other purpose than to provide you information that you requested or update you personally on your particular FEMA-mission issue.

We will not share your e-mail address with anyone for any reason within the Louisiana Recovery Field Office or outside.

When You Ask To Be Put On Our E-Mail List

Your request goes directly to the desk of the Public Affairs Mission Manager who personally manages the E-Mail Alert List.  No one else has access to that list within our building.  We do not keep your name on file and do not share the list for ANY reason with anyone else.

Opt In/Opt Out Policy

Occasionally, because we need to contact your organization, business or neighborhood, we may look up your e-mail address if it is on a web site so we can contact you.  If you receive an unsolicited e-mail from the Louisiana Recovery Field Office, you have the right to request that we NOT contact you again.  We will honor that request.
