Mission Statement:
The mission of the Public Affairs Office is to create and disseminate timely messages that accurately
reflect and amplify the District's policies, procedures and positions when communicating with the
command, the community and the media. We will also engage communication techniques, tools and technologies
that increase customer understanding and support of our corporate missions, vision and values.
