Official Bio: Memphis District Deputy Commander Lt. Col. Collin Jones
Lt. Col. Collin R. Jones became the Memphis District deputy commander in June 2023. As deputy commander, he is second in command of the district. Lt. Col. Jones received his commission from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2007, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management. Lt. Col. Jones' military education includes the Ranger Course, Sapper Leader's Course, Explosive Ordnance Clearance Agent Course, Pathfinder Course, Joint Firepower Course, and the Basic Airborne Course. He is also a graduate of the Military Advisor Training Academy. He holds a Project Management Professional certification and a Professional Engineer License in Missouri. Lt. Col. Jones' awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (five Oak Leaf Clusters), Combat Action Badge, Ranger Tab, Sapper Tab, Pathfinder Badge and Parachutist's Badge.
