USACE DPMs gather for semi-annual forum in Memphis, Tennessee
IN THE PHOTO, Memphis District Commander Col. Brian Sawser provides opening remarks to kick off the 3Q24 DPM Forum, here in Memphis, Tennessee. As host of the first forum meeting this year, the entire U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Deputy District Engineers for Programs and Project Management (DPMs) team traveled to the "Bluff City" to gather for their semi-annual DPM Forum, officially starting April 30 and ending on May 2. The forum created a TEAMS site to facilitate regular communication and collaboration year-round, as well as an online meeting space called Happy Hour where forum members can network, share best practices, and elevate problems and solutions within their community of practice. Additionally, the DPM Forum supplements virtual productivity with semi-annual, face-to-face meetings where they work to tackle the past year's challenges and develop strategies that best move the organization forward.
