On June 27, the Memphis District completed installation of three tainter gates on the Bayou Meto Canal 1000 Phase One project. The installation of the three tainter gates is a significant milestone in the completion of the project’s outlet control structure. The tainter gates control the amount of water released from the reservoir into the primary distribution canal.
