U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mississippi Valley Division Commander Brig. Gen. Kimberly Peeples visited the Memphis District during the last week of November. Her time at the district included meeting with district leadership, took a Mississippi River channel improvement tour, and visited with Ensley Engineer Yard (EEY) district workers. The general also met with White River Irrigation District administration and board members while touring the district's Bayou Meto and Grand Prairie groundwater project sites.
