The mission of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Mississippi Valley is to serve the region by providing vital public engineering services and stewardship of water resource infrastructure, partnering in peace and war, to strengthen our nation’s security, energize the economy and reduce risks from disasters. We will be recruiting a variety of positions using direct hire authority for multiple disciplines and grade levels,
from GS-03 to GS-12. Depending on position/location selected, promotion potential will be the GS-05, 07, 09, 11, or 12 levels. We are also recruiting for many Federal Wage System positions in Memphis, TN and New Orleans, LA.

PAY RANGE:

For General Schedule positions: $25,764 to $92,429 (plus applicable locality supplement, depending on duty location). EVALUATIONS: Candidates will be evaluated in accordance with the qualification and eligibility requirements set forth by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). General Schedule qualifications are located at General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov). Federal Wage System Qualifications are located at Federal Wage System Qualifications (opm.gov)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFORMATION:

All positions require the applicant to be a citizen of the United States.

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, are required to register for Selective Service prior to appointment.
