Go-forward procedures for high water inspection trip cancellation

The Mississippi River Commission’s annual high water inspection trip and public hearings have been cancelled to assist the public health effort with containing the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and protecting its employees and visitors. Safety is a priority during this critical time.

While the trip is cancelled, each District will still solicit testimony "Filed for the Record" with an opening date for submission of March 23 and a closing date of April 3. Documents will be accepted by mail or email and need to be signed by the submitter. All documents need to come directly to the MRC Headquarters addressed to the following: attn: Edie Whittington.  1400 Walnut St. Vicksburg, MS 39180 or Edie.Whittington@usace.army.mil

All submitted testimony will receive a response from the Commission.
