Jim Lloyd is new Chief of Project Management Branch for Corps of Engineers

MEMPHIS, Tenn., October 10, 2007 – Jim Lloyd has been selected as the Chief, Project Management
Branch of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District.

A Memphis native, Lloyd has worked for the Corps of Engineers for more than 27 years in
Operations and Project Management positions. Most recently he served as a Project Manager in the
Memphis District.

In his new position Lloyd is responsible for managing Memphis District projects that are in the study,
design and construction phases in the six-state area within the Memphis District.
Lloyd received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of
Memphis.
