Corps of Engineers to hold Missouri and Arkansas Partnering Meetings

MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 19, 2013 – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, will hold two meetings later this month to discuss a variety of topics with partners in Missouri and Arkansas as follows:

 

March 26, 2013, 10 a.m.

Drury Inn and Suites, room 139

Sikeston, MO

 

 

March 28, 2013, 10 a.m.

Holiday Inn, Razorback III

2007 S. Service Rd.

West Memphis, AR

 

 

The purpose of the meetings is to discuss current topics including an update on the Memphis District work program, the Levee Safety Program, and flood preparedness. Representatives from the National Weather Service and the U.S. Coast Guard will also be present.

“Following the presentations, my staff and I will be available to talk more in depth and answer any additional questions,” Col. Vernie Reichling, the Memphis District Commander said.
