The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Memphis District held a groundbreaking ceremony this afternoon to mark the start of construction work on Greenbelt Landing, located at the north end of Mud Island near downtown Memphis. The ceremony marks a major milestone for one of Memphis’s most popular riverfront destinations and highlights the strength of the federal-local partnership driving the project.
